HD standards at TVNZ?
A while ago, in an in-depth article within NZ Video News, I seem to recall a couple of TVNZ engineers saying that HDV doesn't qualify for an 'HD' tag if you're delivering a high-definition program. You can use it as a second cutaway camera, but not as the primary camera... To be 'HD' you'd need a full HD 1920x1080 signal, not HDV's compressed format and slightly lower resolution.
